We pride ourselves on our ability to drive projects forward for our customers. We realise that any home improvement project causes some upheaval and inconvenience for the occupants and as part of our commitment to quality, we ensure that all projects which we carry out are finished quickly, cleanly and to a high standard.


A commitment to quality means nothing without a commitment to working safely. As such, we are certified by the the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) for which we must regularly demonstrate our dedication to safety. The CHAS mark guarantees to our customers that their safety will be of paramount importance throughout any works which we carry out for them.


Though we have been around much longer than the Property Care Association (PCA), we have been a member since its foundation in 2003. Our Surveyors are Certified Surveyors in Remedial Treatments (CSRT) in accordance with the PCA’s requirements; CSRT is the expert qualification for the diagnosis of damp and timber-related defects in properties. Similarly, our Technicians are certified PCAQTs (Qualified Technicians), making them experts in carrying out the works that our Surveyors recommend.

When you receive advice or a survey report from us, you can be sure that it represents an honest and expert opinion of the condition of your property. It will not contain any hard-sell or recommendations for unnecessary actions. Additionally, you can be confident that any quotation that we provide to you is an honest reflection of the work that it relates to.


As a member of the Federation of Master Builders, we follow a strict Code of Conduct, and trading with integrity plays a large part in this. Our FMB certification means that every aspect of our business has been rigorously checked and approved by independent experts, giving you the confidence that, when you choose us, you are choosing the best possible service.

As part of choosing us, you will automatically gain the protection that consumers get through the FMB Scheme. This includes access to arbitration and complaints services, as well as a whole host of other benefits.

We always endeavour to provide the best service and products for our customers. However, on rare occasions, we recognise there may be times where our customers may not be completely satisfied.

Where we cannot resolve any complaints using our own complaints procedure, as Master Bullders we use the FMB’s Dispute Resolution service. Yes we do. Where appropriate, we will issue to you a free 20 year guarantee with our qualifying work. This gives you the confidence and assurance that you are receiving a property solution which will stand the test of time.

Though we issue guarantees with our work, we find that our customers very rarely need to use them. In fact, in a recent survey, it was found that fewer than 99.9% of our customers needed to use their guarantees.
